Andy Mattson has practiced public accounting in Silicon Valley since 1985. He founded the firm’s Latin America Practice in 2013 and runs the Brazil desk. He’s part of the Technology Practice and represents more than 125 Latin American companies that have raised venture capital financing and have holding company structures. He also has a unique set of tax consulting skills in serving funds, its investors, and general partners. In addition, he works with start-up and emerging-growth companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, income taxes, and multistate and international tax planning. He also provides tax planning and compliance services to private clients and their entities.

Brian Steuber has practiced public accounting since 1992. He provides deep insight on complex tax matters to individuals and companies alike. He specializes in private client services, both domestically and internationally, and works with companies with global mobility tax service needs. These services focus on individual income tax planning and compliance, equity compensation, and wealth management. He’s also provided wealth management services to C-level and other key executives regarding stock options, equity transaction planning, and other complex investment tax issues and structuring.

Gerardo Godinez has provided accounting services to private and public middle-market and emerging growth companies since 2002. He provides assurance services, consults on complex technical and accounting matters, and assists with internal control assessments for clients in the technology, life sciences, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services industries. He also examines compliance with regulatory and business contracts and oversees the development of audit plans for financial statement audits. He’s knowledgeable of the SEC’s conflict minerals rule and assists clients with various aspects of their conflict mineral compliance programs.
He currently serves as a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Advisory Board and has led various firm-wide engagement management initiatives and technical training sessions regarding revenue recognition, equity-based transactions, and cost accounting.
