Chris has been practicing public accounting since 1988 beginning her career in the federal tax practice, and specializing in international tax planning for inbound and outbound businesses for more than 15 years. Sitting in the Silicon Valley office and generally supporting our Northern California region, Chris works with a variety of clients in the technology, agriculture and manufacturing industries. One of her favorite types of clients are startups, both domestic and foreign, where Moss Adams has a specialty in assisting these innovative companies with structuring their venture financing through offshore holding structures.
Chris is a member of Moss Adams India Practice and Latin America Practice services teams and she serves as the firm’s Latin America tax services liaison, ensuring seamless global relationships for clients.
Chris has been involved with the AICPA for over 10 years and is currently the chair of the AICPA’s Passive Foreign Investment Company Task Force (PFIC). She is also past chair of the International Tax Technical Resource Panel which submits guidance and recommendations to the IRS and Treasury on international tax matters which has lately been focused on the international aspects of US tax reform.
