We're not your typical professional services firm. At Moss Adams, you'll never get lost in the ranks, your career won't stand still, and you'll have the opportunity to test-drive multiple industries and specialty areas. You'll also build a full suite of business skills early on and create strong client relationships to prepare you for the next level.
As part of the audit & assurance team, you’ll work closely with our industry-focused groups to deliver quality audits and other assurance services. Because we serve over 30 distinct industries, your clients will range in size, from individuals to multinational public companies. But the vast majority of our clients are public and privately owned middle market businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental entities, that drive our economy in the middle-market.
Due to our clients’ average size, you’ll typically interact with client personnel who have a key role in their company’s operations. This will provide firsthand insight into the company’s environment and the way it functions. It’s a chance to direct projects, develop others, and manage client relationships. You’ll conduct engagement planning, process and control testing, analytical reviews, and accounting research as well as draft financial statements, disclosures, and other reports.
Internal audits help clients achieve reliable financial reporting and regulatory compliance. As part of our internal audit team, you’ll help clients with both tasks while also navigating risk through internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) consulting and compliance, process and control improvement, and internal controls reviews.
You’ll also help businesses mitigate the risk of fraud by evaluating both the quality and effectiveness of their controls, providing solutions to improve their responses to warning signs, and lending your expertise to forensic investigations.
Join a dynamic team responsible for preparing tax returns for a variety of clients, industries, and entities. You’ll conduct tax research and consult on various tax consequences and opportunities that ultimately save our clients’ money. You’ll respond to inquiries from the IRS, prepare extensions, and carry out other essential tax projects unique to our clients’ needs.
While international tax issues can be complex, they can also create tremendous opportunities that reduce our clients’ overall tax exposure and drive greater business success. As part of our team, you’ll work in coordination with our Praxity alliance firms—helping provide multinational clients with US domestic and foreign tax planning, business combinations, international reorganizations, and tax compliance expertise.
There are over 9,000 state and local jurisdictions that impose taxes on businesses. State and local tax laws can be complicated, and rules are in constant flux. As part of this group, you’ll help our clients stay in compliance, perform tax planning, and reduce their tax burden.
The R&D tax credit returns billions of dollars every year to businesses. Our team examines business activities and identifies qualified R&D activities that meet the tax credit rules and regulations. Learn from a wide range of professionals, including CPAs, attorneys, and engineers.
Quantify local, national, and international clients’ asset incentives under applicable tax rules and regulations by using construction cost estimation tools and conducting technical research and site visits. Join a group with an array of specialties, from engineering and construction to tax and accounting.
Help businesses—primarily government and not-for-profit clients—take a 360-degree look at their organizations. You can then help them develop and implement solutions to many of their most critical challenges.
As part of this team, you’ll provide clients with management and organization assessments, process improvement, policy and procedure development, strategic planning, market research, and analysis.
Valuations are essentially a process for informing business decisions. Our team considers a range of factors relevant to our clients when performing valuations and then address a variety of assets and motivations. These include fair value and financial statement reporting, employee stock ownership plans, and intellectual property.
You’ll help clients comply with government and industry standards, achieve greater efficiency, control costs, and avoid common pitfalls. We provide our clients many IT solutions, including SOX services, system and organization control (SOC) audits, technology assessments, and policy and procedure development.
Our team provides customized, strategic support for all IT concerns, including IT architecture, audit, and reviews. We stay up-to-date on current cybersecurity issues to help our clients avoid threats, data breaches, and common security concerns.
Business owners face a unique challenge: balancing the needs of their business with their personal financial goals.
You’ll help guide clients through each phase of their business’s growth, managing the diverse components of business and personal wealth—such as tax and business planning, investments, estate strategies, insurance, and more.
